The Selectable Rates feature within Influence allows you to create a large number of different possible rates and then specify on a client-by-client basis which of these rates are required.
Within a client record, the [Rates] tab can be used to select which of the available rates are required for this client.
Having specified which rates are needed for this particular client, it is then possible to add these rates to the Rate Cards for each role.
Finally, if using the Timed Rates facility you can specify which times apply to each of these rates. (You can find out more about Timed Rates using the link HERE)
Adding Additional Rates
The additional rates can be added in the following way
- Login as ADM (or a high priority level user)
- Go to Maintenance > Setup > Code Tables. Select the system area as C - Contact Management then choose code table Rates  (Sometime called Tempaid Job Codes)
In here you can add a CODE and a Description for any selectable rates you wish to create. Once the rates have been created they can be assigned to clients as required.
Activating Selectable Rates
The selectable rates feature is not turned on by default and needs to be activated by a parameter.
